TEXAS PUBLIC NOTARY FEES
Tex. Gov't. Code Ann. § 406.024 sets out the maximum fees a Notary Public, or their employer, may charge for notary public services. A Notary Public who charges more than the maximum set out below subjects the notary to possible criminal prosecution and suspension or revocation of the notary’s notary public commission by the Secretary of State's office.

Form I-9: Basic Verification Service
Act as an authorized agent of the employer to:
1. Meet with the prospective employee and review Section 1 of their Form I-9 for readability, completeness, and validity.
2. Physically examine employee-provided identification documents to determine acceptability for establishing identity and employment authorization.
3. Complete Section 2 of the Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification.
Note: The completed Form I-9 is returned to the prospective employee unless additional services are requested.
